" Talent wins games, but teamwork and
intelligence win championships "
Michael Jordan.

The annals of significance are filled with those who like to think they walk the walk of greatness, minds intelligent and skilled, discovering a better way to build a world where altruism is instilled.

"We make a living by what we get, But we make a life by what we give" - Winston Churchill.

Great are the examples of Sri Guru Teg Bahadur ji, Sri Guru Gobind Singh ji, Bhai Kanhaiya ji, Bhagat Puran Singh ji, Mother Teresa, S. Ravi Singh ji of Khalsa Aid Dr. Surinder Pal Singh Oberoi of Sarbat Da Bhala Charitable Trust, Florence Nightingale, Azim Premji of WIPRO, Bill Gates, our great Indian soldiers.... who are a source of inspiration for all of us to come out of our cocoons of comfort and help others without expectation of any rewards. They are a beacon of light, having brought about a sea-change in the lives of many, spreading the message of love, like the permeating fragrance of a flower.

Let's love everyone and hold the hand of those in need. If everyone is moving forward together, then success takes care of itself. We don't need better and stricter laws for discipline & peaceful co-existence. We need better people - who are inspired and motivated to uplift society. We may take to our heels or be defeated, but in all-probability we will be the pick of the basket. "Playing safe" may certify a long life, but it will be lackadaisical, dull mechanical, monotonous and selfish. Outshining others is inevitable only when we can honestly think in terms of others and vow to fight for a noble cause. As a Japanese proverb says:-"It is better to be crystal & be broken than be a tile on the house-top & last forever." Let's strive for peace, prosperity and progress of the entire human race.

Let's love everyone, help everyone. Quest for excellence based on the principles of humanity & rationality is the need of the hour. Every life is valuable, entire planet is valuable and has to be held dear to everyone's heart. Tagore dreamt of a society 'where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection' and 'where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into dreary desert sand of dead habit'. Such a dream can be converted to reality only if you have the will to do so. So, dear children, do hard work with dedication, excel in every field but take others along, always help the needy and stand by truth, for the school-motto quotes: "Truth is high but higher still is the truthful living."

Wish you all the best.
